Saturday, April 4 , 2009    7:30 AM "22nd Annual Run for the Turtles 5K Run and a 1 mile fun run/walk on beautiful Siesta Key Beach.

1 mile run/walk at 7:30 and 5K at 8:00.
Registration from  6:30. Registration fee is $20 by 3/22/08 - $25 after that and on race day. Children 10 & under $10 pre-registration $15 after 3/22/08  (MTC Members get $5 discount-Adults only)

Standard age divisions for 5K with prizes to overall male and female winners, Master, Grand Masters and Senior Grand Masters -  plus Medals to 1st-3rd and ribbons to 4th-6th place in all divisions
One Mile Run: Prizes to overall male and female winners, no age category. Ribbons to all finishing participants

All proceeds will benefit Mote Marine's Sea Turtle Conservation & Research program. Last year over 1000 people participated and raised over $13,000.

Sunday, April XX, 2009 7:30 a.m. start "5th Annual Heritage Harbor 10K Run" Heritage Harbour's Central Park, Bradenton, FL 
The 10K race course is USA Track & Field certified (#FL06059DL)

The race is Florida's 2008 RRCA State Championship 10K
An established race organized and sanctioned by the Bradenton Runners Club who are always known for putting on a first class event!  The
race is through a low traffic neighborhood and finishes with 1.4 miles around a scenic lake.  Overall and age group winners will be crowned 10K
state champions in their divisions.  Race for state champ bragging rights!! Open to all ages and abilities.

 There is a discount available for members of the MTC. Register with the name of your running club or team and you will receive the
discounted BRC member entry fee.

Remember, this is a USATF certified 10K race, which means your results will be entered in the state rankings.  It is the RRCA state championship 10K race.  The event will be chip timed and the shirt this year is a technical short sleeve tee with a unique new design.  Profits benefit the BRC scholarship fund, which in turn benefit runners from all of the Manatee County high schools.

SUNDAY, APRIL 13, 2008 "MOVIN' FOR MEALS" 5K, 10K AND ONE MILE FUN RUN. This event will take place at Lakewood Ranch.
